Political Action

We are dedicated to increasing membership engagement and have created a Membership Engagement Committee. In Spring of 2015 you can expect to see some members of this committee at  your shop to have a quick conversation with you.

Roland Sturt-Smith (employed with Cat The Rental Store) and Amanda Pascuzzi (employed with Finning) will be your first line of contacts from this committee.

Roland and Amanda are dedicating their time to helping our members get resources and information needed. They can be of service to you with information or contact information on the following:

  • 692 Pension
  • Retirees groups and services
  • Social Services (Member assistance programs)
  • Campaigns
  • Education services
  • Local 692 services
  • Political Action – help your constituency office
  • Canadian IAM Grand Lodge services and office information
  • IAM Canadian news
  • IAM Canada political arm
  • Volunteering

They will be your primary contact for any Good and Welfare notifications. This includes items such as, members that are sick or injured, members that have recently got married or had a baby, donation or sponsorship requests. Basically, anything our members want added to the agenda of the general meetings.

Please feel free to email them at any time, and they will get back to you right away. Roland Sturt-Smith at rjames@iamaw692.ca or Amanda Pascuzzi at apascuzzi@iamaw692.ca
